Martin Heavy Duty Conveyor Pulley Capabilities

A Martin stocking location received a call for Bushings, Take-Up Frames, Bearings and a cut-to-length Shaft. All parts were pulled, cut, and picked-up within 1 hour and 15 minutes from receipt of the verbal PO!

And you’re well aware of the Stock Conveyor Pulley inventory in twenty Martin locations, right? So, why would you let the little things like odd-sized Bushings, Shafting, Bearings and Take-Up Frames stand between you and an uptime solution?

Martin manufactures the full line of MXT and MHE Bushings, in addition to the QD, Taper Bushed and MST Split-Taper Bushings you’ve known about for years. We also manufacture a wide-array of Take-Up Frames, with industry-leading turnaround on Custom Take-Ups. The addition of stock Mounted Bearings and TG&P Shafting at nationwide Martin locations allows us to help you meet critical requirements.

          

VALUE ADDED STORYLINE:

 A coal-fired power plant had determined that a 24” x 38” lagged Drum Pulley assembly was in urgent need of replacement. They contracted a local distributor to supply and install the replacement assembly overnight. The distributor had a Martin crowned-face, herringbone-lagged Drum Pulley in inventory, but still required (2) MXT40 x 2-7/16” Bushings, (1) 2-7/16” diameter Shaft cut to length, (2) CTA30 x 12” travel Take-Up Frames, and (2) corresponding housed Type-E Roller Bearings to complete the assembly.

 

Martin received the initial phone call at 11:30 AM to physically confirm the inventory and MTO Shaft turnaround time. The PO was received at 12:45 PM, and the customer arrived at 2:00 PM to pick up the components, complete. Before the sun rose, the assembly was installed with no unplanned downtime.
