Designed for precision sensing in tight confines, the VS4's horizontal mounting capability and extremely small size make it ideal for applications previously only accessible by remote or fiber optic models. Despite their tiny size, these self-contained sensors utilize a unique optically correct lens which through a periscope-like concept, redirects the visible red sensing beam 90 degrees off the internal circuit board, sending light out the narrow side of the sensor.

MINI-SCREEN Heavy-Duty light screens are constructed of ruggedized yet lightweight highly-visible yellow aluminum and are highly resistant to industrial abuse and impact. Emitters and receivers are available in seven lengths up to 1829 mm (6'). Also significant, is the long-range capability of this system, up to 18m (60'). Two systems may be used end-to-end horizontally to guard extremely large areas up to 720 square feet (12' x 60'). New MSC control boxes can be configured for Trip Output (automatic reset) or Latch Output (monitored manual reset) via a pair of DIP switches.

WORLD-BEAM QS186 Series laser emitters designed for use as a DC powered "laser pointer" in an industrial housing as well as the emitter half of an opposed mode sensor pair. As a pointer, the QS186 laser emitter provides five different beam shapes including small spot, circle, vertical line, horizontal line and cross for applications requiring precise product or target location. These application include pointing at a punched hole or missing hole, as part of a sensor array of "pick-to-lights" illuminating a component selection work sequence, and for material cut-off indication. It can also be used for simple vision system illumination.

Also corner mirrors for their popular families of light screen machine safety products include: MINI-SCREEN®, MICRO-SCREEN® and the EZ-SCREEN Safety Light Grid. The enclosures are constructed of FDA-approved materials and the stainless steel mirrors are ideal for applications where glass is not appropriate. The enclosures and mirrors make installation of light screens or perimeter guarding systems in food processing environments significantly easier. The enclosures are idea for high-pressure washdown applications and are rated NEMA 4X and IP67. Twelve enclosure and 14 mirror sizes are available allowing numerous configurations.

| Safety Mat Monitor Modules |
These new modules feature a universal design that can be used with any standard, 4-wire safety mat or safety edge that is based on contact plates or strips that short together to cause activation. They facilitate exceptional safety protection with their dual-diverse, microprocessor-based design, meeting Safety Category 4 per ISO 13489-1 (En 954-1, and ISO 13850 (EN 418). The new unit is very economical allowing multiple mats to be switched in series with a single module. Contacts include four redundant, forced-guided (positivie-guided) outputs rated at 6 A. One normally-closed output monitors status and two auxiliary sold-state outputs indicate the state of the internal relays and power supply.
